Recently, my Mom visited for two months. Yes - two months! One weekend, we drove over to Mt. Rainier for an afternoon. It is such a beautiful place to visit. There were lots of waterfalls, wildflowers and unprotected, treacherous drop-offs along the way. Thankfully, neither of us threw the other off the mountain. On a clear day, I can see Mt. Rainier in the distance on my way home from work. Too bad there aren't many clear days in the NW.

Welcome to 'blogland' It's great to have another blog to read. I live in GA with Jennifer :-) But I used to share your view of Mt. Rainier!! I lived in Tacoma from the time I was 10 - 15 yrs. old. I loved it there and did NOT want to move when my dad retired from the USAF. I got lost on Mt.Rainier once...good times :-)
